7 Mile Beach Negril Jamaica
7 Mile Beach Negril Jamaica is the most beautiful of many Jamaican Beaches. In fact, it is arguably the most beautiful beach in all of the Caribbean.
It's whiter than white sand is fringed with palms and sea grape trees. The water is perfectly clear and still. The coral reefs are beautifully decorated with coral and abundant sea life.
Long Bay begins at the roundabout in the Center of Negril Village and extends North to Bloody Bay. Long Bay is the most heavily developed section of this beach.

Also known as Negril Beach or 7 Mile Beach Negril Jamaica, this unbroken length of beach draws a high concentration of visitors. Wherever the visitors are you'll find vendors and hustlers. Expect advances until your face becomes known and your reaction to their calls slows.
A bar is never more than a few feet away and you'll find plenty of good open-air restaurants and snack shops. You can walk along the beach -- stop for a cool drink, stop for t-shirts and try a famous Jamaican patty (pastry filled with meat, chicken or vegetables), as well as every kind of water sport imaginable.
Most hotels along the beach employ security to keep the vendors at bay. More peaceful and less crowded Jamaican beaches can be found at the Northern end of the beach.
For more solitude try Long Bay Beach Park. A stretch of beach between Beaches Negril and Beaches Sandy Bay. There you will find changing facilities, picnic tables a snack bar a considerably fewer people. If you are hungry, be sure to try Cosmos Restaurant. It's a great place just to hang out. Entrance fee 100JA$. It has a very pretty beach strung with hammocks!
Another great option is Bloody Bay -- unfortunately, this once barren stretch of beach is slowly being invaded by the construction of new all-inclusive resorts.
In the center of the beach between Riu Tropical Bay Resort and Couples Negril, adjacent to Sunset at the Palms Resort, you'll find 'Office of Nature'. This open-air barbecue is run by friendly Rastafarians and is the center of local activity. It's here, especially on public holidays and Sundays. where you'll find locals enjoying a cricket match or a picnic.
If you venture beyond Bloody Bay and over the Orange River Bridge there are still deserted sandy coves. These quiet spots are the favorite places for Jamaicans to gather for weekend beach parties.Just take any of the dirt tracks, off the main road, that lead into the trees. Unfortunately, going alone is unwise. There have been some reports of robberies and assaults so it is better to go in groups.
