You've been dreaming about all inclusive Jamaican vacations, saving your money and getting ready to schedule your vacation. You've seen all the ads and probably received recommendations from friends. Before you invest your money and valuable vacation time, there is more you need to do than find the best price!
Best Price or Best Value!
Don't run yourself ragged checking only the prices! There, I've said it. The price is not the only thing!In fact, price has very little to do with finding the best resort! Yes, I understand you might be working with a budget or at least and idea of what you want to spend, but what you really want is the best value for your money.
We all have expectations about what our vacation will be like -- take the time to make sure the resort will meet your expectations! With all inclusive Jamaican vacations, the key word is "Inclusive".
This means everything is bundled into one complete price (room, meals, drinks, entertainment, water sports, etc.) The more "Inclusive" the resort is, the more you will pay! Let's break it down!
ROOM -- Type of accommodation (can be anything from basic room with garden view to a larger suite with beach front veranda).
MEALS -- Resorts can offer anything from basic breakfast, lunch & dinner buffets only to your choice of dining in several specialty restaurants serving gourmet meals. Some resorts offer 24 hour in room dining.
DRINKS -- Bar drinks can be 'Domestic' (local liquors) or 'Premium' (local & imported liquors). The bar drinks might be offered only during certain hours or round-the-clock. Some resorts offer rooms with fully stocked mini-bars.
ENTERTAINMENT -- All resorts have entertainment. Some, more than others. Games and active fun at the beach & pool with non-stop parties at night, or something a little more refined and low-key?
WATER SPORTS -- This is probably the area where you will find the most difference between resorts! It ranges from none at all to everything you can imagine!
"BEST VALUE" = Finding most (if not all) of what you want, without paying for more than you will realistically use!
