Beaches Sandy Bay is a family all-inclusive resort!
Beaches Sandy Bay is located on Seven Mile Beach in Negril Jamaica. It has a more intimate feel that the larger, Beaches Negril, nearby. The staff is friendly and accommodating, always ready to help you create some wonderful family memories. The guests at this resort have exchange priviliges with the larger, Beaches Negril, down the road. Most guests, upon returning from
Beaches Negril, are happy to be staying at the smaller, Sandy Bay.
The main buffet-style restaurant is on a poolside terrace with ceiling fans. Two specialty restaurants require reservations. During the slow season, one restaraunt may be closed. Dining privileges at Beaches Negril offer more variety. An island band plays nightly in the bar or there is a island-style show until the disco opens at 10:30-2am.
The rooms are located in two and three-story buildings. Request the 3rd floor, as they have vaulted ceilings that give a larger-feel. Standard air-conditioned accommodates are graded into seven categories, consisting of rooms, studios and apartments with tile floors, french doors, basic white furniture, combination baths, with king beds and sofa beds or two double beds. Verandahs are shared and some offer a peek at the ocean through the dense tropical foliage. Some of the ocean-views have shower-only baths and two honeymoon suites have whirlpool tubs.
Couples and singles are also welcome at here, but might feel some what overwhelmed by the families, especially during peak family holiday times.
