Charela Inn

The Charela Inn is a great choice if you appreciate a low-key atmosphere, friendly Jamaican service, nice basic accommodations and a perfect beach.

Evening entertainment consists of Jamaican folkloric shows scheduled for Thursday and Sunday. You'll find plenty of other evening entertainment close by.

The hotel has a small round pool. Out past the pool is a dining room and bar that look out to the wide sandy beach. There is a TV room and cozy library that offers internet access.

All rooms are furnished with one queen or two twin beds. All come with TVs, radio, phone, ceiling fans and A/C. All bathrooms have shower/tub combo (3 wheelchair accessible units have stall showers only).

You can choose from oceanview or gardenview rooms. There are 4 larger units that cater to families. Upper-level rooms cost a little more, but are worth the difference if you want to sit on your balcony and enjoy a beautiful Caribbean view. The ground-floor units have patios enclosed with bars (like a cage).

Five-night minimum during high season and three-night minimum during the Summer. Children under 10 stay free in gardenview rooms.
