Country Country Negril Beach Cottages
Country Country Negril Beach Cottages is a laid back boutique-hotel designed by an award-winning Jamaican architect. It's a stylish, colorful hotel with plenty of island-made woodcraft and lacy fretwork.
The grounds are covered with lush landscaping and palm trees. Activities are limited with guests lounging on the beach and in hammocks. Your stay includes use of an impressive sports facility next door. No pool.
The main restaurant serves Jamaican and continental dishes in the evening. During the day the beach bar and restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch.
The basic one-bedroom cottages are individually painted in bright tropical colors. All have smooth, sponge washed concrete floors with A/C, ceiling fans, TVs, refrigerators, coffeemakers, safes and showers. Each has either a patio or veranda with king or twin beds. The one-bedroom suites add a separate sitting room and can sleep an extra 2 guests on a daybed or futon.This is a really nice property. Great for couples and families. It might be a little quiet for singles, but the location (right in the middle of the action on the beach is definitely a plus). It is the type of resort where you will feel at home and be sure to return again. I have a good Jamaican friend that lives in Atlanta GA. She returns to Jamaica every year to visit family and friends. In the years she has been traveling back to Jamaica, she has stayed in many properties on the beach, but this is her absolute favorite. She is looking forward to returning again this year. Upon arrival at Country Country, she always feels like she is home.
