Grand Pineapple Beach Review
"Wonderful vacation --From Central New York" Feb.09 Just got back from Grand Pineapple Beach in Negril Jamaica and have to say we had a wonderful time. We were a group of 8 adults all over the age of 50. We were looking for a relaxing vacation without all the frills of the larger resorts and that's exactly what we got. The resort is clean and constantly maintained. The staff is one of the best and we have traveled all over the Caribbean. The food was the best we have ever had and we always stay in all-inclusive resorts. There is plenty of variety for everyone and the cooking station was fabulous. The resort was overbooked and we didn't get the original room category we reserved upon arrival. We were persuasive with the with the manager and had our rooms in 2 days. We also had a problem with the water, lack of pressure and hot water but they were working on this problem while we were there. Junior the manager of the resort will listen and try to rectify any problems. Michelle is in charge of rooms and if you work with her she will do her best to take care of the room issue. Joseph is superb with you dining needs. Gary at the bar will concoct any drink you want. Overall, we had a fabulous vacation and would definitely go back again. The beach is spectacular, the resort beautiful, and the staff the friendliest and most helpful we've seen. Take plenty of ones and fives and don't forget to tip the staff. They won't forget who you are! Updated 8/09 -- Returning to Pineapple Beach again in Feb/2010. This time our group of friends is even larger. Can't wait!
