Jamaican Waterfalls & Mayfield Falls Riverwalk, be sure to bring your swimsuit. . . .

Jamaican waterfalls are some of the most beautiful in all the Caribbean. Because Jamaica is so mountainous you will find waterfalls all over the island. Located near Negril, Mayfield Falls river tour is a total of ¾ miles in length. You’ll want water shoes, so bring your own or rent some. You will trek through river currents, splash in 7 natural Jacuzzis (offering a natural full body massage), romp up 21 waterfalls.

After you meet your fully-trained guide, your tour begins by crossing a real bamboo bridge. Once on the other side you take a hike along a nature trail to the Bamboo Village and on to the river. Your guide takes care to describe all the trees, plants and wildlife you see along the way.

You‘ll want water shoes, so bring your own or rent some there. Because the groups are limited to 8 guests, the guides are able to provide plenty of individual, personalized attention to everyone.

While you are there, don‘t miss the underwater cave for two where you’ll learn to breathe underwater. Your tour ends with a Caribbean feast served under a private thatched hut overlooking the falls.

Explore Since these Jamaican waterfalls are fairly close to Negril, it can be combined with a trip to Roaring River Park or Royal Palm Estate.
