The Swept Away Resort Negril Jamaica is one of four Couples' Resorts in Jamaica and one of two in Negril. Swept Away is Couples' most private and peaceful resort. It's style and taste are apparent the minute you arrive. Instead of the usual piped-in music, the lobby is filled with the delicate jingle of wind chimes. Swept Away Resort Negril Jamaica boasts the island's largest (10 acre) fitness center. These state-of-the-art facilities include a large aerobics room for step and yoga, an olympic sized lap pool, squash, racquetball, basketball and 10 tennis courts (5 clay/5 hard), all are lighted at night --also massages, sauna and steam rooms.An extensive water sports program includes; scuba diving programs, waterskiing, and use of windsurfers, HobieCat sail boats, kayaks and pedal boats, beach volley ball. Lessons are provided for sailing, water skiing & windsurfing. Greens fees at Negril Hills Golf Club are complimentary (mandatory caddy and cart cost extra). With the scuba programs, certified divers receive one complimentary dive daily. Non-certified divers can take advantage of The FREE resort course offered Mon-Fri 9A, followed by one complimentary dive (additional dives $50). They also offer Full Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diving and Dive Master Certifications for an additional cost. You can also complete your Open Water Referral training here as well. It's also easy to get around by just taking a stroll down the beach! The Palms restaurant services breakfast and lunch buffets and a la carte dinner. In addition to the buffet lunch at the Palms, the Sea Grape Café has wonderful vegetarian and natural dishes. Fresh fruits, vegetable juices, pita pocket sandwiches, healthy appetizers and more are available every day. Open up to 6:00 p.m. The Cabana Grill, at the beach, offers a variety of mouthwatering sandwiches, salads, jerk chicken and just about everyone’s favorite casual food choices (also Open for late night snacking, hours from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.) For dinner the Palms offers innovative meals, featuring an array of tempting international and local dishes. The Lemon Grass, overlooking the pool and beach, serves authentic a la carte Thai. Patois Patio, sent in a tropical setting, offers casual dining and a most unusual combination of Caribbean and Latin flavored dishes. For a wonderful gourmet dinner, choose the award-winning Feathers (call ahead for reservations), for continental cuisine with a distinctly Caribbean flair. Feathers dress code for ladies is "semi-formal". For gentlemen: collar shirt, long pants, dress shoes / closed shoes. The second section, graded as verandah suites, are very contemporary. Large bathrooms include a shower and tub. These units have white walls and have larger verandahs and balconies than the original rooms. They also offer TV's and stocked mini-bars. Request an end unit if you like the open air feeling as they boast a louvered wall. These units are housed in buildings that hold 12 units on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors. The newest rooms at Swept Away Resort Negril Jamaica, are in the "Great House" (Great House Verandah and Jacuzzi suites). Great House Verandah suites are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors and just steps away from Feathers, Patois Patio, Cabana Grill, Aura Nightclub, piano bar, shops, conference rooms, internet cafe, gaming room, pool and swim-up bar and beach. All great house rooms feature views of the ocean, are air-conditioned with ceiling fan, King Bed, private shower and bathtub, telephone, Flat Screen satellite TV, CD player/radio, blow dryer, safety deposit box, stocked mini-bar. Out on the beach, the lounge chairs have pads that double as floats. The beach bar prepares the most delicious island drinks with fresh fruits! The beach and pool areas have red-flag service, so you never need leave your chair to get a drink! Just added: brand new pool and swim-up bar! Internet access in complimentary and there is a computer room and Free Wi-Fi access is available at the pool areas and public areas. 
At Swept Away Resort Negril Jamaica the rooms consist of three different sections spread out over the grounds. The original rooms, graded Garden, Atrium, & Beachfront are fabulous. Terra cotta tile floors, hardwood furnishings, & french doors that open to a roomy patio or balcony. On the verandas, Atrium suites have hammocks and Beachfront suites have rattan rockers. Rooms also have large bathrooms with shower stalls and hair dryers. These rooms have louvered walls to let in the air & light, A/C and ceiling fans. Garden rooms are closest to the road, Atrium rooms are in between the Garden and Beachfront rooms. Beachfront suites are up close to the sea. Due to the resort's maturing gardens, the upper level rooms will have the best views and some rooms will have obstructed beach views. These units are housed in buildings that hold 4 units on 1st and 2nd floors.
