The state-of-the-art equipment will give you the wildest ride with the highest margin of safety. Caliche uses only top-of-the-line whitewater rafts made from military PVC material. Safety is their top priority -- they use special life jackets, all rated from Grade III-V and all extremely buoyant. On the faster grades they add a head flap to keep your head above water. An exotic and beautiful experience in the rain forest where you are as close to nature as can be.You can swim in a mineral pool, swing on ropes or just glide down the river on a raft. safe enough for children and gentle enough for the elderly. Not for the timid! Caliche Rainforest is white water rafting at its best, Jamaican Style! This exciting adrenaline rushing tour will take you down waterfalls around boulders and through rapids up to grade IV. While rushing down this wild and untamed part of the Great River you will experience totally undisturbed nature. All tours are accompanied by internationally trained rafting guides. The ride is approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours depending on river flow. Total time is 5 hours with transportation. Refreshments are served at the end of the tour. Grade III rapids.
